Again, this casino is still new and hopefully, they will expand this area to offer other options than the above. There is a Nathan's, Panda Express, Earl of Sandwich, and either 1 or 2 others - nothing to really write home about. Secondly, their Food Court is very limited. I know this casino is new, but think they should offer this option for their patrons. There are two areas which, in my opinion, could use a tad of improvement at this point in time, they don't offer scooter rentals, if you need one, you need to furnish your own or a wheelchair. There is ample parking but I can't comment on how well lit it is as we've only been there during the daylight hours. It's also very well lit and easy to get around inside. The casino is very clean and well ventilated - the smoker's didn't bother me.
River Valley also has table games with real live dealers. The casino has lots and lots of new slots (and lots of your favorites) and, at least for now, they appear to be somewhat loose (at least, more loose than Harrah's Cherokee. Granted this casino is smaller than Harrah's Cherokee but it is a lot closer to home than Cherokee - takes us approx 1 1/2 hours (vs 2 1/2-3 hours depending on traffic) to get to Murphy. And we have had nothing but fun, fun, fun every time we go.
We Try to go to Harrahs River Valley Casino in Murphy, NC about Once or twice a month.
